- Transitions Program -
We are currently creating a Transitions Program that not only sends the youth of the Maranatha House to college, but also teaches life-skills at an early age. This program is geared to provide a male and female Haitian Transitions Coordinator that will create opportunities for the children to practice shopping, cooking meals, managing budgets, and networking with career men and women. They will also teach our kids how to write resumes and interview for jobs, along with additional opprtunities. To find out more, or to support this program, click here.
- Company Matching -
Have you checked to see if the company you work for matches your giving? They just might! See this list for some companies that offer matching donations for employee giving and double your impact!

Building Update -
The boys' dorm now has residents! The boys officially moved in right before Christmas and are enjoying their new digs. The girls may even be more excited to be able to spread out in the main house. Thank you to everyone who supported this project!
Mentorship Program -
The mentor for our oldest boys, Jean Wiler, recently shared with us about his weekly meetings with his mentees. He expressed how much he's seen the boys grow since they initially started meeting and the changes it is having in their lives. Their conversations are getting deeper, they have developed more trust between each other and are learning to grow into capable young men! Each day he sees them becoming more respectful in the way they are communicating, acting and reflecting. He also added how thankful he is for the support of Ncompass and it's donors.
The mentor for the girls at the Maranatha house, Vanessa, shared that during their time together they focus on multiple areas including doing Bible studies together, showing the girls how to plan for their future, the importance of education and how to handle relationships.
Recently, we brought on another mentor who is focusing on some of our younger boys. We are so excited for what's to come with this program!
Sewing Project -
The children are loving the sewing program! Many of the girls in the program are hoping to learn more about sewing so that they'll be able to have their own shop where they sell clothing in the future.
General Sponsorship -
Daphline Money, pictured below, is in need of a general half sponsorship. Sponsorships cover the costs for housing, food, wages for caregivers, hygiene and medical supplies. Click the link here for more information on sponsoring Daphline.
One of our recent Kidstarter projects is highlighted below:
Jaxon, Bret, Austin and Garrett are 7th graders at Life Christian School. Together with the help of their technology teacher, they designed and created spinning tops on the school's 3D printer. They sold these tops and also collected funds to support the "Area of Greatest Need" program at Doernbecher Children's Hospital. For each top purchased, one was also given to a child at Doernbecher. During the first 48 hours of their project being open, the boys reached their initial goal of $1,250! Because they were so successful from the start, they decided to raise their goal to $2,000. Through their hard work, they were able to reach their second goal by the end of the year. Congrats, boys!

We'd like to welcome our newest officer, Grant Writer - Beth Peters. We are thrilled to bring on Beth's excitement and passion for helping Ncompass raise funds so we can continue our efforts to serve, empower and develop youth!
